Our Stone-Ground Ruby Red Grits are milled fresh in small batches in Wilsonville, Alabama, where we’ve been grinding corn since 2002. They are made from 100% certified organic red corn, milled slowly using traditional stone-ground techniques. Old-Fashioned Stone-Ground Ruby Red Grits Recipe
Ingredients:
• 4 cups water
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup uncooked McEwen & Sons Stone-Ground Ruby Red Grits
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:
1.      Bring water and salt to a boil.

2.      Slowly whisk in the grits.

3.      Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring often, until thick and creamy.

4.      Remove from heat and add butter and pepper.

Yield: 4 servings
